Dooley's Restaurant
Location: Ardee, Louth
The Dooley family took over Brady's Bar in 2000. Dating back to 1844, the original signage still remains over the old bar.
The premises underwent major extension and renovation in the last couple of years. Dooleys of Edmondstown, incorporating the Granary Bar, Harvest Restaurant and Kavanagh Corner proudly opened its doors in November 2009.
The interior is traditional with an abundance of old world charm, from original parquet flooring and luxe leather armchairs to the original fireplace taken from the home of the engineer of the Titanic. The premises is divided into distinct areas with an overall feeling of cosiness and yet a sense of spaciousness.
The kitchen is headed up by renowned chef, Kieran Bagnall. The dynamic kitchen team combine their culinary skills to deliver the highest quality food all day, every day. Dooleys serves food all day including a very popular carvery lunch.
The A La Carte menu starts at 6 p.m. and boasts an extensive, innovative menu where the focus is on great tasting and beautifully presented food.
