We now wish to recruit a number of Process Engineers to work on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors. The positions are based in our Cork office; however some projects will require travel and may involve overseas placements. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar type environment previously and have experience of maintaining and tracking large databases of equipment parts. An individual is required to be the technical system expert for a very large database of information at a high degree of accuracy. The individual will be required to manage the EDB database (deletes/adds/changes), generate PRs JIT & track delivery against schedule. The role will require someone with experience of managing several projects running concurrently. Role Description and Responsibilities: The validation engineer will be responsible for the review and approval of validation protocols and reports for equipment, laboratory and control system validation, ensuring all equipment and control systems are validated to the required GMP standards and are maintained in a validated status, and participate in any GMP reviews for new facility construction, facilities upgrade and new manufacturing equipment and support systems. The successful candidate will hold a BSC in Chemistry or a BEng with experience in a validation role in a pharmaceutical environment. A strong working knowledge of the principles of qualification and validation are essential. Knowledge of US and EU GMP regulations would be beneficial, but not essential.
