Rare Handmade Czech Round-Back Acoustic Guitar – 1990 – Jiří Lebeda & Pavel Šavrda – Prague
This is a rare handmade round-back acoustic guitar built in Prague (Praha), Czech Republic, in 1990 by respected Czech luthiers Jiří Lebeda and Pavel Šavrda. The original maker's label is still inside the guitar.
Jiří Lebeda is an internationally recognised Czech luthier whose handcrafted instruments are highly regarded by musicians and collectors. He has been building instruments since 1978, and his guitars, mandolins and resonator guitars are known for their craftsmanship and quality.

The guitar features:
Original 1990 maker's label.
Fibreglass round-back (Ovation-style construction).
High-quality Schaller "Made in W. Germany" machine heads.
Handmade construction by two Czech luthiers.
An uncommon instrument that is unlikely to have been made in large numbers.
Condition: The guitar has significant damage where the wooden top has separated from the fibreglass bowl on one side (see photos). It will require a professional repair before being played properly again. Because of this, it is being sold as a restoration project.
Value: Based on its rarity, handmade construction and the reputation of the makers, I believe that in excellent restored condition this guitar could be worth approximately €800–€1,500 to the right buyer. In its current damaged condition, a realistic value is around €250–€500, making it an interesting opportunity for a luthier, collector or someone looking for a unique restoration project. This is an estimate based on comparable handmade Lebeda instruments and available information about the makers.
