- The IMB5 is an intelligent vehicle immobiliser that prevents unauthorised use by detecting authorised ID cards within a secure communication area. If no valid ID is present, IMB5 immediately triggers engine immobilisation, preventing the vehicle from starting.

How IMB5 works
- ID detection: When the driver (or authorised user) with a registered ID card enters the vehicle’s communication area, the IMB5 recognises the card and allows normal operation.
- Unauthorised use prevention: If the system does not detect a valid ID card, IMB5 treats the event as unauthorised use.
- Engine immobilisation: Upon detection of unauthorised use, the IMB5 sends a secure signal to disable the engine start system, preventing the vehicle from being driven away.
