For sale is a beautiful vintage Epiphone Recording Alhambra 19-fret tenor banjo, one of Epiphone's top professional models from the late 1920s/early 1930s. Renowned for its rich, powerful tone, outstanding craftsmanship, and stunning Art Deco styling, the Alhambra sits just below the Bandmaster in the original Recording range.

This banjo features the highly sought-after Recording tone ring, ornate engraved pearloid fingerboard and headstock, silver-plated hardware, and resonator. It delivers exceptional volume, clarity, and projection, making it the perfect instrument for trad.

The banjo is in excellent condition for its age and has been well cared for. It is ready to play and is a rare opportunity to own one of Epiphone's finest vintage banjos.

The tailpiece is not original but the one from a paramount A/B. The original tailpiece works fine but the cover doesnt close because the spring inside is broken and needs to be changed. The banjo comes with the 2 tailpieces and a hard case.
