Description

Priced to sell. Fresh test, valid until 10/27.

Laika Ecovip 100 for sale. NEEDS C1 LICENCE. Left hand drive.

Bought two years ago, never had time to use it. :'( It was kept in storage, but unfortunately was parked under a leak in the hangar roof, so got soaked in water. I had cleaned it and it is in dry storage since with a dehumidifier running constantly.

That being sad, it is a great camper on an indestructible Iveco 2.8 basis with space for 6 passengers, has a generous bathroom, two double beds, and even a gas fired oven. Everything works. Will come with a new onboard battery, a fresh CVRT and most importantly a full cover to protect it against the elements.

Only serious buyers please. No exchange.

If the van was parked under a leak how did the water get into the van ? I'm a bit confused if a leak soaked the van would the rain not do the same ?

donedealuser (#45aab8) 1 week ago

@the beach ball: Good question. And the answer is: Absolutely. Although, the extent would be different based on the intensity of the rain. It would need to be a constant and concentrated stream of water to have the same effect. Than being said, I never stated that the camper is waterproof 🤷‍♂️. It would be foolish to expect a 30 years old camper to have intact seals. Thus a cover is offered with it, see: "and most importantly a full cover to protect it against the elements". I hope it clears up the confusion. If you are looking for a camper, feel free to PM me for tips on the pitfalls when buying campers (I have made lots of mistakes so far :D ). Have a nice day!
