Description
This teapot was produced by Samuel Johnson Ltd., in Burslam. They sold their wares under the trade name Britannia Pottery since 1916. This piece was made between 1916 and 1931. It is in used condition, the gold trim is worn at various places on the piece, the most noticable is on the gold on the handle and a little on the back of the spout and also on the rim of the opening for the lid. The overall floral pattern is in good condition. There are no chips or cracks but there is light crazing on the lid which is hardly noticable. There is what looks like a superficial crack on the inner base but isnt transferred to the outsitde
