Vintage Sadler England Black and Gold Swirl Tea Set Teapot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug

Beautiful vintage Sadler England tea set in the classic Black & Gold Swirl pattern.

This elegant matching set comprises:

• Teapot
• Lidded sugar bowl
• Milk/cream jug

Featuring Sadler's iconic sculptural swirl design, the set is finished in a rich glossy black glaze with hand-applied gilded detailing. The striking black-and-gold colourway gives it a timeless elegance and makes it a wonderful decorative piece for dark academia, grandmillennial, Art Deco-inspired, old-money, and traditional English interiors.

The set is in lovely vintage condition and displays beautifully. There is some gentle age-related wear to the gilding, most noticeably on the finial (lid knob) of the teapot, where a small amount of the original gold decoration has softened over time. This is entirely consistent with careful vintage use and does not detract from the overall appearance of the set, which remains highly decorative and very well presented.

A fabulous display piece for a dresser, sideboard, library, tea station, kitchen shelf, or cabinet. Equally suitable for display or use.
