Hi! Just wanted to help out with the description of your coin.

It looks like a nice silver piece, but it's actually a 1/2 Real from King Philip V, minted in Madrid (that's what the 'M' mark usually stands for), so it's technically a Spanish mainland coin, not Colonial.

Also, just a heads-up: the term 'Peseta' wasn't officially used on coins until 1868. This one is definitely an 18th-century Real denomination. Correcting this might help you attract the right collectors who are looking for specific Philip V Reales.

Colonial refers to Spanish Colonial era.

forgot to say, this coin was bought many years ago by a family member who was visiting Chile, with some other coins & holy medals, plan to advertise at least one of the medals soon, very interesting item.
