1849 British Godless Florin

For sale is an 1849 British Godless Florin from the reign of Queen Victoria.

The 1849 Florin is known as the “Godless Florin” because the design omitted the traditional words “DEI GRATIA” (By the Grace of God) from the Queen’s titles. This distinctive early Victorian coin is an interesting piece of British numismatic history.
