▪︎ Reverse : Features The Crowned Tudor Rose dividing the Royal Cypher ( G R ) with a Thistle and Shamrock above the Inscriptions FID : DEF ( Defender of the Faith ) IND : IMP ( Emperor of India ). This title was removed from coins after 1948 following India's Independence.
