Investment Grade Lot: 2x SEALED Rolls & 16 Loose 1966 Silver 10 Shillings (Pearse)

Description

A rare opportunity to acquire a substantial investment lot of the 1966 P.H. Pearse Silver Ten Shilling commemorative coins.

The Lot Includes:
2x Unopened/Sealed Bank Rolls: 20 coins per roll (40 coins total). These are original "as issued" rolls, extremely rare to find in this sealed state.
16x Loose Choice Uncirculated Coins: Mostly housed in protective flips.

Technical Details:
Metal: 83.33% Solid Silver.
Total Silver Weight: This lot contains approximately 845 grams (over 27 Troy Oz) of pure silver.

These coins were minted to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1916 Rising. Over half the original mintage was melted down, making these high-grade survivors a blue-chip Irish collectible.

Collection/Postage: Due to the high value I highly recommend in-person collection in Drogheda/Dublin. Insured courier shipping can be arranged.

@Interstellar Space thanks for your interest. I would like to shift as an entire lot, so I won't be separating items

Hi, Thats Fine, I can offer 40 per coin. Thats the high end of the going rate at the moment. There's 15.1 grams of Silver in each coin and at today's spot price of €63.10 per troy oz- this equals €30.6 worth of silver in each coin so Ill offer 40 per coin.
That comes to €2240 for 56 coins total but Ill round that up to €2250.
I won't go higher as a 10 euro premium on this coin as they never ever sell higher in bulk or even in small quantities so let me know if this is acceptable .
Thanks.

€2,250 OFFERED

@Interstellar Space Hi, thanks for the offer.

While I appreciate the breakdown, I’m not looking to sell these at a 'spot plus' margin. These are original, sealed bank rolls in choice uncirculated condition, which carry a significant premium over loose silver.

I can accept €2,250 for the two sealed rolls (40 coins total). This reflects a fair bulk rate for the rolls as a standalone lot.

I’ll be withdrawing the 16 loose coins from the deal at this price point though. If that works for you, let me know and we can move to PMs to finalise.

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for that.
The best, i can do is €2250 for all 56 Coins and I will throw in a freebie of 3X Central Bank Jack Yeats 1oz Sterling Silver new in unopened box with certificates and proof of purchase
Thats an extra 200 plus worth.
No problem if its not enough but any more is not possible.
Thanks.

@Interstellar Space I appreciate the offer and the Jack Yeats coins are lovely pieces. However, I’m only looking for a straight cash sale at this time and I'm not interested in taking on trade-ins.
My position remains the same: I can do the two sealed rolls for the €2,250, or the full lot of 56 for €3,000. If neither of those works for you, I’ll have to pass, but thanks for your interest.
