Listed here is a truly lovely Ex. Spink 1551 Full Edward VI Hammered silver crown, possibly the only one for sale in Ireland. Extremely nice provenance. PRICE NEGOTIATABLE.

Spink reference 2478. Dated 1551 (First numerical date on an English coin). Graded Good 6 pushing Fine 10. MID 1970s SPINK AND SON TICKET.

Fine issue silver 1551 Crown, Boy King on horseback with date below. Shield on cross. Evenly struck, faint but visable date, worn shield and some legends, pleasant even wear across the coin. Light contact mark and general circulation wear. No dings or scratches.

Mintmark :y: weighing at just under 30 grams, full weight.
MASSIVE coin coming in at 43mm in diameter. Bigger than most crowns, thinner but wider flan.
