Description
A beautiful little coin. A Maundy 3 Pence piece. Maundy money idea started in 1662 by Charles 11 on Maundy Thursday, Holy Thursday and copied the idea of Jesus washing the feet of the poor. They were from 1D to 4D and were distributed to the poor/ elderly. A wonderful piece of history to own.
