@olivecoder apologies, should have mentioned that! Yes, it’s an AMD card. I had an nvidia card in this system but I’m using it elsewhere. It’s an AmD FirePro W2100 with 2x display port outputs
One thing to add - this is a server spec chassis, and I had 6x SATA/SSD drives installed. The cooling and PSU also allow for running beefy GPUs with proper cooling channels. In case you may want to go down this path
@Wasted @Wasted hi.. officialy, the chassis can hold 3x 3.5” or 4x 2.5” drives, but the motherboard has 6x SATA connectors. I had 6x drives installed including a few SSDs in one of the 3.5” bay. Supports 2x GPUs and up to 128GB RAM
Just wondering how does this do power wise? If I plan to have this running 24/7 am I'm looking at a shock lekkie bill
@Wasted to be honest I never really checked that. I know this is anecdotal, but machine is whisper quiet even under load. I had two spinning discs configured to power down when not in use, and the rest were SSDs where workloads ran/saved data. Sync to spinning discs happened periodically. The only power draw that I would probably point out is the GPU, depending on what you put in. With the dual CPU and multiple cores/threads the system never peaked in terms of CPU/RAM load. Hope that helps :)
