Beautiful Vintage 3.6ct Sapphire & Diamond Ring - 18ct

For sale is a stunning vintage sapphire and diamond ring dating from around the 1960/70s.

The ring is set with a large, oval cut sapphire held in a four claw corner setting and set in the centre of an art deco style, diamond encrusted setting. with 20 small round cut diamonds, totalling approx. 0.6/0.7ct. The sapphire weighs approx. 3.6ct

The stones are entirely set in 18ct yellow gold, so no white gold at all and gives the ring a beautiful warm colour.

This is a magnificent ring with a really beautiful size and looks stunning on the finger.

The basket beneath is beautifully carved and pierced with a lovely design and the band has a hammered texture finish to the base.

The ring is fully hallmarked 18ct gold and the finger size is a O 1/2 and can easily be re-sized up or down to suit.

A really special 1970s ring with an Art Deco style and a vivid royal blue. It has it all!!
