Stunning used Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1961 Stratocaster Relic from the year 2000, Number 8 of a run of 12. It features a multi-layer paint job with gold applied over a sonic blue base. According to documentation, the 2000 Custom Shop relic models were supervised by John Cruz, who was not yet promoted to Master Builder, and this guitar is likely one of those. It is also presumed that this guitar was not a custom order from the shop, but rather one of only 12 guitars produced by Fender.

The neck is a C-shape, a maple neck with a rosewood slab fingerboard,
1999 pot-dated pickups, and an alder body with a lacquer finish that shows nice checking weather.
