What this body is originally from? What thickness? Will fender neck fit no problem?

@OverTheHorizon I’ll have to try find the wood type. Fender neck will fit no problem. Thickness I can measure but it’s a perfect match too the pink fender Vintera body on my Esquire

@Workswelder I didn’t sorry. I’m going to take a wild guess and say sycamore, I’ve had a few other bodies so I know for sure it’s not pine or maple

That would make the body lighter than an ash one but heavier than one made from basswood or poplar. The decision would be a lot easier if the colour wasn't so lovely!
