I ensured every camera received professional maintenance. Here's exactly what I did:
I completely disassembled the camera.
I washed important internal parts in an ultrasonic bath using my special cleaning solution.
I removed the old glue from the curtain drums and re-glued the curtains with new adhesive if they were in good condition.
Holed, defective, or hardened curtains were completely replaced with new ones.
I washed the glass parts of the viewfinder, and replaced any defective optical components.
The entire interior of the camera was thoroughly cleaned of sand, dust, fungus, insect debris, and other contaminants.
All mechanisms were carefully reassembled.
I lubricated all moving parts with new, special high-quality lubricants.
I checked the endless focus with a specialized device.
The self-timer was checked, and if necessary, replaced with a working one.
Finally, I carefully calibrated the rangefinder using two reference points.
