Aquatest pH x2

Aquatest pHx2 is used to measure the pH in the general range 4.5-9.0 with an accuracy of 0.5 and in the narrowed range 6.0-8.0 with an accuracy of 0.2. The measurement method is simple - a few drops of the indicator are added to the water sample, and the developed color is compared with the color scale bands and the result is read

Water with an appropriate, relatively constant pH value is one of the most important conditions for fish health in the aquarium.
Most of them tolerate water with a pH in the range of 6.0-8.0, however, some require water with an acidic reaction (e.g. biting - pH 5.0-6.0), other alkaline (e.g. cichlids from African lakes - pH 7,8-8,3). Too high a pH causes alkaline disease, too low an acidic one. Major changes in pH over a short period of time should definitely be avoided.
