Liquid Mineral GH+ is a liquid mineral salt for the treatment and re-mineralisation of osmosis (RO) water, demineralised water, rainwater and soft tap water. It adds vital minerals and trace elements to aquarium water and increases total hardness (GH).

Product description

Liquid Mineral GH+ is based on an original Japanese recipe. The minerals and trace elements are designed for keeping and breeding shrimp from soft water habitats, such as bee shrimp and their cultivated forms, tiger shrimp, bumblebee shrimp, etc. It supports well-being, colours, reproduction and healthy growth.

Supports aquarium microbiology

Liquid Mineral GH+ supports important microbiology in the aquarium, including biofilm formation and effective work of filter bacteria in the substrate and aquarium filter. Good water quality and a clean environment near the bottom are particularly important for shrimp to stay comfortable, healthy and active.

Practical tip for soft water shrimp

Bee shrimp and similar species originate from soft water habitats with a pH below 7. In home aquariums, pollutants can accumulate because the water does not continuously get replaced like in nature. Supporting aquarium microbiology helps keep water quality stable. Minerals and trace elements are also essential for filter bacteria. With mineral deficiency, bacteria can become inactive and water quality can deteriorate. The water should therefore be hardened to at least GH 5 using Liquid Mineral GH+. Best results are achieved with GH around 6.

Dosage and usage

- 4.7 ml (or 70 drops) per 10 litres increases total hardness by approx. 6 °dH and conductivity by approx. 280 µS

- Simply stir into water and it is ready for use
