Protosol is a dr.g used in cases of flagellate infections, also those affecting internal organs, often accompanied by bacterial infections.
It is recommended to combat the so-called St. John's Worm caused by flagellates of the Spironucleus genus attacking especially scalars and discus, manifested by skin defects on the head filled with purulent substance. It can also be used in the case of bloating disease to which African cichlids are exposed, caused by intestinal infection with flagellates and secondary bacteria.
It is also used to combat costosis caused by Ichthiobodo flagellates, which is a threat especially for fry and juvenile fish.
The preparation contains a derivative of metronidazole acting against flagellates (among others of the genus Ichthyobodo, Hexamita, Spironucleus), also works against amoebas and bacteria, especially anaerobic, its advantage is the ease of penetration into unicellular protozoan organisms. Other ingredients contained in the preparation have a supporting effect against bacteria and molds, preventing secondary infections of fish weakened and damaged by parasites.

Dosage of the preparation:
prophylactically - 10 ml per 100 liters of water
basic - 10 ml per 50 liters of water
When using the dr.g, do not use activated carbon or trophic filters. After treatment, remove by changing the water (approx. 1/3) or use activated carbon
