A Stanley No 78 Rebate Plane as a Scrub Plane
Description
This is a very clean Stanley No 78 made in England and in excellent condition. It can be used as a scrub plane as opposed to a rebate plane as demonstrated in Paul Sellers video that you will see in the link below. This one was missing the rod, fence and dept stop so I turned it into a scrub plane. The body is clean and the sole is perfectly flat. The iron now has the proper convex curve and it has been properly sharpened ready for work.
