Hacker vintage Record Player GP42 'Gondolier', Refurbished

Note The Hacker GP42 'Gondolier' with the automatic turntable has sold. This one has the alternative quality single play Garrard deck.
This vintage Hacker mains valve record player dates from the early 1970's, and its sound reproduction was regarded as top of the range in at the time. It has a large 10" elliptical speaker, a powerful 7 watt valve amplifier, tone controls, and a Garrard 3 speed record deck which has been lubricated where necessary. The stylus (needles) are readily available today. The unit has had extensive renovation work done to it, including changing most electrolytic capacitors, and all out of tolerance resistors. The end result is a record player that works well, and sounds good. It should also now be reliable for the foreseeable future. All work was carried out by myself an ex Pye electronics engineer. Any questions please just ask. My positive feedback testifies to peoples satisfaction with previous refurbishments of similar equipment.
If necessary I may be able to arrange transportation to Dublin D12 for collection after Paypal payment, otherwise collection at Wellintonbridge area, and of course that way you can have it demonstrated.
NB I also have the slightly smaller Hacker Cavalier GP15 to list shortly.
