Vintage 1996 MASJ Silver Scenes Orchid Botanical Brooch Signed Dated Pewter CAN POST

A stunning and highly detailed vintage botanical spray brooch by Welsh designers Edward Anthony and Maureen Ann Story-Jones under their renowned "MASJ / Silver Scenes" label.

Design Features:
This beautiful piece features an intricate, three-dimensional orchid flower at the base, transitioning into elegant tulip-style buds and slender leaves reaching upward. It has a gorgeous antique silver finish with deliberate oxidisation in the deep recesses to perfectly highlight the multi-layered depth and fine textures of the design.

Hallmarks & Authenticity:
Fully authenticated on the reverse with the crisp, hand-engraved signature: " MASJ 96". This dates the piece directly to the highly collectible mid-1990s peak era of the Welsh workshop. I have included a picture of the taken under the microscope.

Condition Notes:
Excellent vintage condition overall. The silver-plated finish is bright and completely intact, protected by its original workshop lacquer layer. The rear rollover safety clasp mechanism operates smoothly and holds the pin safely and securely, though it turns quite easily.

Dimensions: the length is 5.5 cm.

A wonderful, highly collectible piece for any vintage costume jewellery enthusiast. Shipped securely. Please check all photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions!
