Branch Agri Manager

Our client is a long established Agricultural and Hardware Merchant in the South East. Currently, we are recruiting for an individual to manage and develop the agricultural division of their Wexford branch.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful appointee will give expert agronomy advice to cereal growers and other tillage farmers along with technical sales support to customers and sales representatives as and when is required. Purchasing and managing stock of fertilizer and chemicals.

They will have a keen interest in livestock systems (dairy, beef and sheep) with an interest in developing sales of feed, fertilizer and chemicals to existing customers and expanding our current customer base.

Management of customer accounts, meeting and exceeding sales targets.

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate is likely to have a degree in agriculture, with a background in arable farming and livestock with relevant experience of agronomy and technical sales to farmers. They should also be a registered pesticide advisor and have ambition to manage, drive and expand the agri. business.

This is a challenging but rewarding role for an energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent, communication, technical sales and interpersonal skills.
