Junior/Trainee Health and Safety Professional for Construction

Health and Safety worker required for a busy Construction Company. The successful candidate will be involved in an Hotel Construction Project, based in Sheriff St, Dublin area.

Requirements/Skills:
• Third Level degree in Health and Safety or
related discipline is required
•In date Safe Pass & Manual Handling
• A minimum of 2 years Health and Safety experience, with a main contractor is essential
• Experienced in carrying out risk assessments
• Highly motivated and meticulous in attention to professional standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and can engage, motivate and work with people; this is a fast-paced project that will require hands on work
• Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Complete TBT's weekly
• Reviewing all paperwork from Sub-Contractors and ensuring Main-Contractor's paperwork is in place
• Weekly checks for H&S paperwork ie. GA2'S, GA3'S, Ladders etc.
• Excellent organisational skills to be implemented i.e. efficient filing system in place on Site Office, for everyone to follow.
• Full drivers licence essential

Duties include but not limited to:
• Develop, monitor, implement and audit Health and Safety Procedures/Policies in business.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure risks are reduced
• Keep record of incidents and accidents. Produce all statistics to Senior Management
• Keep up to date with new legislations and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Authority (HSA) legislation and any development, effecting the industry.
• Responsibility for the supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of the Environmental, Health, Safety Management Systems.
