Description
Garrison cap of the German People's Army belonging to the Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik (Association for Sport and Technology), a paramilitary association that contributed to the militarization of East German society by organizing, together with the National People's Army, the country's pre-military training in schools, universities, and workplaces.
Grayish green with red piping and an embroidered front patch featuring the GST symbol. Size 53, with marking on the inside.
The hat is in good vintage condition.
