Trout & Salmon Loughs of Ireland - Peter O'Reilly - 1992 Fishing Guide

Trout & Salmon Loughs of Ireland by Peter O'Reilly, a detailed guide to trout and salmon fishing across Ireland.

This fully revised and updated 1992 second edition runs to 320 pages, covering individual Irish loughs with practical information for anglers.

Rather than simply listing fishing locations, O'Reilly examines the fish present, access and fishing conditions, productive seasons, recommended flies and tactics, bank and boat fishing, and the particular characteristics of each water.

Includes detailed entries for numerous fisheries, such as Lough Mór, Emy Lough, Creevy Lough, Lough Broughagh and Lough Brackan.

An interesting reference for Irish trout and salmon anglers, fly-fishing enthusiasts and collectors of Irish angling books. It also provides a fascinating record of Ireland's fisheries in the early 1990s.

Please bear in mind that some practical details, including contacts, permissions and regulations, may have changed since publication.
