What is it? A porcelain shoe for Christmas, of course! Made by Villeroy & Boch, this winter decor piece features the iconic Design Naif pattern by Laplau: a frosty winter scene of log cabins, busy people, and happy dogs.

Why a shoe? December 6th is Saint Nicholas Day in Europe. On the eve of the 5th, children put their shoes outside their door for a visit from St. Nickolaus. If the children have been good, they will find candy and treats in their shoes.
