Vintage Blue Mountain Pottery Deer Fawn Figurine Canadian BMP Pottery Mid Century Animal Decor

Green Black Drip Glaze
12 cm wide x 9.5 cm high
A beautiful vintage Blue Mountain Pottery deer/fawn figurine, featuring the iconic rich glaze and sculptural styling associated with this collectible Canadian pottery.

This sweet resting fawn has an especially charming expression, with oversized ears, a gently lowered head and graceful molded body. The glossy glaze combines deep green, teal and near-black tones, creating wonderful variations as the light catches the piece.

Blue Mountain Pottery was produced in Ontario, Canada, and its distinctive animal sculptures have become highly collectible examples of Canadian vintage pottery.

With its sleek form and dramatic glaze, this deer works beautifully with Mid-Century Modern, retro, woodland or eclectic décor and would make a lovely addition to a Blue Mountain Pottery collection.
