1970's Indigenous Chilean 60 Inch Articulated Wooden Snake

First thing to say is that is a very genuine and authentic Chilean piece..made by the indigenous people of Chiloe..I am dating it based on the fact that the import company was formed in the early 70's..Tumi being the name of an indigenous friend of the owner..The piece is 59 inchhes long..has a solid wooden carved head with all it's teeth..a wide cord was then fixed and wooden graduated half discs where then mounted to this..(giving full articulation)The flow of the discs is seamless and the handle painted scales are off the charts..lack of video uploading here restricts even my pontification.Prices on these go very much northbound of my asking price..some in excess of 1k..and most are later poor mass produced imitations..The weathered label on this..together with the quality is very reassuring for for myself and the new custodian..The piece has no problems to report..I will include registered post and very safe packing.
