39" Late Nineteenth Century Balinese Wooden Temple Buddha

Here is a truly stunning Balinese temple piece.It is a hardwood hand carved depiction of a Buddha..39" tall,9" across the base and 5" deep.The Buddha weighs a hefty 3.7kgs.It is a flat back piece, making is ideal for displaying at home.The Buddha is in overall lovely condition..no repairs to report.A couple of very shallow deflections,consummate with age.The piece would come up like new with a couple of coats of stained varnish (if that is the desired look of the new custodian.)The quality of the carving and details in the face and clothes is of a very high workmanship.This is by the the best Buddha of this size and age..at this price point.I will safely wrap and registered post the piece included in the asking price.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
