Description
Offered for sale is a Victorian sterling silver pocket watch, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1877. This is an authentic "matching numbers" set (Serial: 39046), ensuring the movement and case have remained together for nearly 150 years.
Movement: Not currently running; sold for spares or full restoration. Features a beautifully engraved balance cock.
Case: Solid Sterling Silver. Hallmarks are crisp and clear.
Dial: Enamel dial with Roman numerals. Note: Hands and crystal (glass) are missing. The dial shows some age-related wear but remains a great candidate for a rebuild.
This is a fantastic "blank canvas" for a hobbyist watchmaker or a collector looking for a genuine Victorian silver case and a matching movement.
