Description
For sale is a high-quality Roman bronze Trumpet brooch (fibula) in excellent excavated condition. This piece features the classic flared trumpet head and a decorative central knop. Most notably, the original eight-coil bilateral spring and pin are intact and preserved, which is rare for items of this age. Features a stable, natural green patina. A wonderful addition to any Roman antiquities collection.
