Antique 19th Century Chinese Canton Famille Rose Vase - 25.3cm (Damaged)

Price: €25

Description:
A beautiful antique Chinese export porcelain vase, decorated in the traditional Canton / Rose Mandarin (Famille Rose) style, dating back to the late 19th Century (Qing Dynasty).

Beautifully hand-painted with detailed panels depicting traditional Chinese court life scenes with figures, birds, and butterflies. The neck features relief detailing, and the shoulders are adorned with applied gilded Chilong dragons. Unmarked base, which is classic and correct for export wares of this period.

Priced very cheaply due to the damages—perfect as a stunning rustic decor piece, shelf accent, or for a porcelain restoration project.

Dimensions:

Height: 25.3 cm

Condition Note (Please Read & Inspect Photos):
The vase shows clear signs of age and damage:

One of the gilded Foo Dog/Lion handles on the neck is completely broken/chipped off.

There are multiple noticeable chips and flakes missing along the top wavy rim edge.

Typical light rubbing to the gold gilt and enamel due to its great age, but the main body is solid with no major hairline cracks. Sold strictly as-is.

Collection Only from Dublin 15.
