Here is a fabulous early twentieth century Zimbabwian Shona hardwood sculpture..The Shona tribe carve these figures as a representation of connecting with their ancestors.This piece was fully ebonised when first made and this has now mellowed in to a magical patina.The sculpture has some central heating expansion splits over the decades..It is still in very solid condition,with no lateral movement.The piece is 8.5" tall and 3" across the base.Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
