Rare antique WMF art nouveau bowl

Rare Antique Art Nouveau silver plated bowl from the late 19th/ early 20th century by famous German makers WMF.

Oval in shape, with typical art nouveau design of sinuous leaves, stems and flowers in bud, together with a hovering dragonfly towards one edge. The twin handles are formed from the sweeping curves of the plant life. Excellent workmanship. This is an authentic example of the Art Nouveau period. Great conversation piece.

This is an early production of this model with the older back stamp. Harder to find one with the older stamp.

Very good antique condition. There is a bit of coating loss on the bottom part near a leg. Back stamp as WMFM I/O as.

There is some tarnish to the silver plate which should remove easily if wanted, however some folks like the more aged look and so I will leave it up to yourself.
