The 8th Armoured Brigade 1939 to 1945 Original WW2 Brigade History
Description
Title: The 8th Armoured Brigade 1939 to 1945 Original WW2 Brigade History
Original post-war history of the 8th Armoured Brigade, the "Red Fox" brigade, with its famous fox's mask emblem on the cover.
The 8th Armoured Brigade fought at El Alamein and across North Africa, then landed on D-Day in Normandy and fought through France, Belgium and Holland into Germany as one of Montgomery's independent armoured brigades.
These brigade histories were printed in small numbers for the men who served, and original copies are now sought after by WW2 and military history collectors.
Condition: soft cover with age spotting and staining, mainly to the right-hand edge and spine; the cover is worn but intact.
