A beautiful apple shaped jar / container / round box. Dimensions: 14 cm high (with the handle) and 13.7 cm diameter (outside), 9.4 cm deep and 8.9 cm diameter (inner)
Beautiful hand-turned wood container and lid shaped like an apple. Could be used for storing trinkets, but love how it looks on a kitchen counter or book display shelf. The condition is very good with no cracks or hairlines. The handle stem is intact, which can be difficult to find with these wooden apples. I'm uncertain of the type of wood and there are a couple of lovely natural formations in the wood. Please see photos.
