Vintage Martell Cognac Grand National 2003 Water Jug - Limited Edition

Beautiful vintage cobalt blue ceramic water pitcher / pub jug commemorating Monty’s Pass, the winner of the 2003 Martell Cognac Grand National at Aintree.

This is a highly collectible piece of horse racing and breweriana history, especially notable for Irish racing fans as Monty's Pass was trained in County Cork by Jimmy Mangan and ridden by Barry Geraghty!

Maker: Officially designed and manufactured by Seton Pottery in Cornwall, England.

Limited Edition Status: Authentic gold stamp on the base, individually handwritten as No. 2213 of a limited edition run of only 4,000.

Features: Striking deep cobalt blue glaze, fine gold/gilt edging along the rim, and a built-in ceramic ice-bridge partition near the spout.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.

The interior glaze is clean and highly glossy, the front race graphic is crisp, and the gold lettering on the base is fully intact and perfectly legible. No chips or cracks.
