Vintage Original Steel Milk Churn
Description
Old steel dairy milk churn with great rustic character and original period features.
Stamped “BLATRIX” around the neck along with additional identification numbers/marks. Complete with its large carrying handle, retaining chain and removable deep lid.
Measures approximately 46cm high × 26cm diameter at the base.
The churn has been cleaned and given a dark protective finish while retaining its aged industrial appearance. There is heavy age-related corrosion, including rust-through around part of the upper neck, which is clearly shown in the photographs. The interior also shows considerable age and rust.
A very attractive decorative piece for a farmhouse, pub, restaurant, garden, shop display or vintage/industrial interior.
