hey there :)
it’s a beautiful instrument and i’m v interested in it, just wondering if that D key that’s slightly raised affects the playability/working order of the accordion? also do you know if there is any damage to the bellows & if the reeds are in tune? thanks a mill!

@TheFirstCircle Hello,I am selling it for an elderly relative who bought it a good number of years ago for €500 with the intention of playing it.He only used it occasionally.It is a beautiful instrument.The bellows look fine with no tears or wear,I think the raised key plays ok but I would have to check.I am not sure about the tuning.When I was taking pics I just tried a few notes and it sounds good.I am going on holiday tomorrow for 2.5 weeks and unlikely to get a chance to check the key before I go.If you are interested I will check when I am back.Thanks.

thanks so much for the additional info, it really helps. that would be great if you could have a test of the key once you’re back, but there’s no rush :)
i’ll be on holidays myself for 2 weeks now too, so enjoy your time away and we can get in touch in 3 weeks time if that suits !

Hello again,
I just checked the accordion and even though I am not quite sure what I am looking for I can tell you that the raised button works in and out.I also noticed that when you open the bellows there is sound without pressing a button.You are welcome to check it yourself under no obligation.

hey there,
thanks so much for checking that out. that’s great about the key working, however the instrument sounding while no key is played indicates a leak in the bellows; it could definitely be a small restoration job for myself though! i really appreciate the additional information, you’re a legend for that. enjoy your time away, and in the meantime i’ll look into materials/ what i might need to restore it, and ill be in touch once we’re both back in a couple of weeks if that suits? :)
