The joint connecting the tripod with the transverse beam allows you to change the angle of the boom in relation to the tripod and to move the arm independently in the vertical direction. A large load capacity will allow for the suspension of heavier lamps with modifiers such as a softbox or a beauty dish.
A movable lock on the opposite end will balance the weight of the attached equipment. The boom will work in every major photo studio and on a film set. The cross-section of the tripod legs with a popular diameter of 22 mm allows for easy selection of wheels improving the mobility of the set.
