"Before the Quiet" – Original Hand-Painted Expressionist A4 Art (Psychosis Expressionism)

Description:
This painting is a piece of my survival.

I hand-painted this original piece in Ireland during a profound period of psychosis.

It is not a calculated piece of design; it is a direct, urgent translation of what my mind was navigating when the ordinary world fell away.

When words and logic broke down entirely, this canvas became the only way I could speak and try to make sense of the overwhelming chaos inside.

The imagery holds a heavy duality—a fragile butterfly suspended between crushing deep blues and an intense, burning red landscape, anchored by a fracturing DNA helix.

It represents a soul trying to anchor itself, to piece reality back together, and to find a fragment of beauty within deep psychological isolation.

I am releasing this piece because it no longer belongs in the dark. It is a raw, unedited slice of human experience. I hope it finds a home with someone who understands what it means to look into the storm and find a way to create anyway.

• Size: Standard A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm)
• Material: Original acrylic on a thin canvas sheet.
• Important Display Note: To prevent the canvas from natural curling and to preserve the raw paint layers for a lifetime, this piece has been carefully laminated. It sits perfectly flat, is fully protected from dust/moisture, and is ready to slide straight into any standard A4 frame.
