"An Unvisited Memory" – Original Textured A4 Art

This painting is an artifact of a place my body has never been, but my mind deeply inhabited.
I hand-painted this original piece in Ireland during a severe period of illness.

While navigating psychological distress, reality fractured—and a phantom Japan became my shelter. I have never physically visited, but I experienced intense, incredibly vivid visions of it.

When the ordinary world was total chaos, this landscape brought me an overwhelming sense of peace. I painted it because I craved the absolute stillness, the clean air, and the quiet of the pink trees. I still long for that place.

This artwork is a direct, unedited window into that vision. It captures the atmosphere and the strange comfort of a world built entirely by a mind under pressure. I hope it finds a home with someone who understands what it means to look for quiet inside a storm.
