A particularly attractive and highly localised work by Alex D. Minty of Bangor, an artist whose paintings now have a documented presence within the Irish secondary art market.

The painting depicts the still waters of Clandeboye surrounded by reeds and mature woodland, executed in a restrained palette of greens, blues and earth tones.

It is presented in a substantial traditional gilt frame which gives the work considerable presence when hung.
