Antique B. Worth & Sons EPNS Fish Serving Knife & Fork

A particularly decorative pair of antique fish servers by B. Worth & Sons of Sheffield, comprising a large serving knife and matching five-pronged serving fork.

The star of the show is definitely the engraving — the broad knife blade is covered with delicate floral sprays, geometric bands and finely worked borders, with complementary hand-engraved decoration on the fork. Both pieces have warm ivory-coloured handles finished with detailed metal collars.

The knife is clearly stamped B W & S – EPNS, tying the pair to the Sheffield maker.
