For sale is a fine George V solid sterling silver vesta case (match safe) dating to 1919.
Made by silversmith F. D. Long, this piece features crisp engine-turned geometric wave patterns across both front and back. It features an unengraved circular cartouche at the center, ready for personalization. Fully hallmarked on the rim with the maker’s mark "F.D.L", the Birmingham anchor, Lion Passant sterling mark, and date letter "u" for 1919.
