Original Poole Pottery Delphis plate, Shape 91, made in England. A striking hand-painted abstract design in vivid orange, yellow, green and black on a rich orange ground, typical of the iconic Delphis range produced during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The reverse carries the Poole dolphin backstamp, shape number 91, and an unusual sailboat decorator’s mark.

A fantastic piece of British mid-century modern design that displays beautifully on a wall or shelf.
